Patients frequently misunderstand the relationship between their insurance policies and their medical bills. All insurance policies and government medical policies are contracts between you and your insurance company. Your medical bill is YOUR responsibility.We will cooperate fully with your insurance company and will file or assist you in filling for benefits covered by your policies. However, if reimbursement from your insurance company is not received within 60 days from the date of filing, your bill is due and payable by you. Any subsequent payment received from your insurance company will be immediately refunded to you. Your cooperation with this reimbursement policy will be greatly appreciated.
